IT’S Glee Against The Music as the hit TV show goes bonkers for Britney tonight.

Fans can catch the singing pupils of McKinley High belting our their favouriteBritney Spears numbers, including Toxic and Hit Me Baby (One more Time). When the episode aired in the States, it drew a staggering 13.3million viewers, making it the most-watched Glee show ever. CHEAP SUMMER HOLIDAY DEALS: BOOK A BARGAIN NOW! and insiders reckon it will repeat that record when it airs here tonight, complete with a cameo appearance from the gorgeous 29-year-old pop babe herself. In the episode, dim cheerleader Brittany Pierce (Heather Morris, 23) dons a see-through sparkly body stocking to recreate the real Britney

Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson), Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron), Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet), Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris), and Noah "Puck" Puckerman (Mark Salling). THEY HAVE TO BE REAL NAMES NOT MEAN NICKNAMES. -_- :)

If you could rename these characters from Glee, what names would you use?

Lea Michele plays an annoying, tenacious, opinionated geek (Rachel Berry ) who has a penchant for pleated skirts, buttoned-up blouses and knee-high socks.

So it's little wonder actress Lea Michele couldn't wait to shed her prim and proper on-screen persona and slip into something a lot sexier.

Lea, 23, who plays songstress Rachel Berry in the popular comedy series Glee, she looked gorgeous and glamorous in a floor-length silk maxi-dress as she arrived at a party for the show in Los Angeles last night.

Lea recently revealed that she has 9 tattoos concealed about her person, proving even more she couldn't be less like her on-screen alter ego.

She joined her co-stars at the bash at the Bar Marmont in West Hollywood for the Glee Spring Premiere Party to celebrate the return of the smash-hit show to our screens.

And the cast lived up to the show's name as they partied at the bar inside the exclusive Chateau Marmont Hotel.

They and other specially-invited guests were also given a first look at the new episode on a big screen outside the hotel.

She was joined by co-stars and fellow glee club members Amber Riley, who plays 'diva in training' Mercedes Jones, 24, who constantly battles with Rachel for the lead vocal.

Also there was Dianna Agron, 23, who plays pregnant ex-cheerleader Quinn Fabray, and Cory Monteith, 27, who stars as Finn Hudson, the fictional William McKinley High School's star quarterback, the lead male vocalist in the glee club and initially thought to be the father of Quinn's unborn child.

Matthew Morrisson, 31, who plays Spanish teacher and glee club coach Will Schuester, was also in attendance as well as Jessalyn Gilsig, 38, who plays Will's estranged wife Terri.

The show's cheerleaders – known as the Cheerios – and glee club members Britney and Santana, played by Heather Morris, 23, and Naya Rivera, also 23, respectively, joined them on the red carpet, as well as Jenna Ushkowitz, 23, who plays Tina Cohen-Chang.

The first series has been split in two with 13 episodes having already been shown around the world which not only brought massive critical acclaim but a huge cult following. Don't we just all love glee

The second part of series 1 airs in the U.S.13th April and starts back on E4 in the UK 19th April 9pm, yes bring it on. Monday night guess where I will be. Sitting in front of the next series I am so excited.

The first part ended on episode 13 and saw the glee club, win a show choir competition.

The first half of series one was released to buy on DVD in the UK yesterday and both soundtracks to accompany the show are also available to buy.

Fans of the show have been buzzing about the show's return and have been throwing parties in its honour.

Some went one step further and arranged a Glee flashmob event that took place around London yesterday if you want to watch the video of the London Gleeks Click Here.

Have fun and enjoy the next instalment of glee. :)

Lea Michele as Rachel Berry in Glee

cast of glee Cast of Glee lea michele as rachel berry

Birthname: Lea Michelle Sarfati

Date of Birth: August 29, 1986

Place of Birth: Bronx, New York, USA

Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown Height: 5′ 2″ (1.57 m)

Sign: Leo Occupation: Singer; Actress B’way Debut: Les Misérables 1995 TV Debut: Third Watch

Lea Michele Sarfati was born in The Bronx, New York, the daughter of a nurse and a deli owner. Michele's mother is Italian American and Catholic, while her father is of Spanish-Sephardic Jewish ancestry.

Michele grew up in Tenafly, New Jersey, where she attended Tenafly High School. Michele was accepted to the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, but opted to continue working on stage.

Michele has virtually grown up onstage, making her Broadway debut at age 8 as Young Cosette in Les Miserables. Landing the role from an open call, the young actress has hardly stopped working since, going from Les Miz to the Toronto and Broadway companies of Ragtime, followed by a brief stint in high school (“It was my fun, normal time!” she quips) and then the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof. “I’ve kinda had to grow up fast,” Michele says frankly, “but it’s made me who I am.

I have some awesome friends from high school, and I’ve also been able to work with people like Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell—I mean, come on! I wouldn’t change any of it.

This is exactly where I want to be.” Best known for her role as "Wendla" in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of "Spring Awakening,"

Michele was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for her performance. She was recently nominated for a Teen Choice 09 Award in the Choice TV: Breakout Star Female category.

Michele has also performed at Radio City Music Hall during the Tony Awards with the casts of "Spring Awakening," "Ragtime" and "Fiddler on the Roof." Michele is featured on the cast recordings of these productions.

She was last seen as "Eponine" in the star-studded production of "Les Miserables" at the Hollywood Bowl. She has performed solo concerts to sold-out crowds at Feinstein's at Loews Regency in New York and at the Upright Cabaret in Los Angeles. On the small screen, Michele has appeared on "Third Watch" and "Guiding Light."

She currently divides her time between New York City and Los Angeles. She has recently received widespread acclaim for her performance as Rachel Berry in the Fox television series Glee, which premiered in May 2009. Michele has received both a Satellite Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award and has additionally been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Teen Choice Award for her Glee role.

Rachel Berry is a member of Glee. She is perfectionistic and convinced that show choir is her ticket to stardom, in fact, she always puts a gold star after she signs her name because she is sure she will be a star someday.

She is often picked on by the popular cheerleaders, the Cheerios and the football team.. She has two fathers for parents. Rachel is interested in musicals, movie musicals, and TV musicals.

Rachel is a determined Jewish sophomore student and the daughter of an inter-racial same-sex couple. Rachel is interested in musicals, movie musicals, and TV musicals. She is driven and so isn't a natural team player to work successfully with the other members of the club and this problem often leads her to the verge of leaving – especially when she is passed over for the glee club's starring roles.

Rachels story so far in Glee.

She joins the glee club hoping that fame will increase her popularity and help her find a boyfriend. She is bullied by members of the school cheerleading and football teams, but is pleased when quarterback Finn Hudson joins the club, developing a crush on him. The two share a kiss in the episode "Showmance", although he tells her to forget it happened and goes back to his girlfriend, cheerleader Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron). Rachel quits the glee club when director Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) assigns a solo performance she wanted for herself to another student.

She is awarded the lead role in the school musical, Cabaret, by Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and Sandy Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky), who are conspiring to bring the glee club down. Rachel later rejoins the glee club when she realizes she would rather be in a group where she has friends. She has a brief relationship with Puck (Mark Salling), a member of the glee club and football player who used to bully her. Rachel ultimately breaks up with him over her feelings for Finn, but they remain on good terms and he stops picking on her.

Finn believes himself to be the father of Quinn's unborn baby, until Rachel discovers the father is actually Puck and tells Finn the truth. The club attend their first major competition, where Rachel gives an impromptu solo performance and they win by unanimous decision. In future episodes, Rachel is to have a love interest in the lead singer of rival group, Vocal Adrenaline. This character will be played by Lea Michele's former Spring Awakening costar, Jonathan Groff.
